Lancaster City FC Falls to Allentown in Close Contest

Lancaster, PA - Lancaster City FC suffered a 2-1 defeat against UPSL side Allentown United in our preseason friendly.  

Our first action of the year, the LCFC Men came out strong getting on the board early with a goal from Micah Hostetter.  Good pressure from the team won the ball back and with the ball sent into the box Hostetter found the back of the net.

The visitors got one back before half to go into the break 1-1 despite LCFC having a great spell of possession throughout the first half.

Allentown United broke the deadlock in the second half on a penalty kick partway through the 45 and were able to see the game out despite numerous chances for LCFC to find an equalizer.
